This is part 2 of the article series on setting up a Centos development server with the full LAMP stack running in a virtual machine under Linux. It covers using an alternative Yum repository to obtain recent MySQL and PHP packages, and the XDebug extension, setting up an Apache Virtual Host, and using the Hosts file to support development server naming without DNS.
