Tutorial Ideas
« on: April 08, 2007, 03:51:08 AM »
i thought long ago there was a thread dedicated to this, but i couldn't find it.  i figured it'd be a good idea to hear from the community what sort of tutorials they'd like to see.  is there a particular part of the PHP ocean you'd like a map to from someone who's been there before?  post here and we'll see if we can't arrange someone to write a tutorial about it.

keep in mind this thread guarantees nothing about the writing of tutorials - it's merely a place for people to express an interest in seeing a certain tutorial.  PHPFreaks tutorial submission seems to have been waning/dead for a long time, and i think we could perhaps revive that a little bit provided we see some interest.

any thoughts?

In PHP Tutorials > PHP > Databases > MySQL there is nothing on basic adding, editing, deleting - something simple like that would be handy because these questions are asked frequently.

Also under Databases, there is nothing about Flat file databases. I have no idea how people work with those, and it would be nice to know.

The MySQL board has some stickies to this effect.
