Help setting up MySQL windows binary

I dont get it. im stumped. to me there setup documentation is next to useless. is there somewhere that\'ll tell me how to set up MySQL windows binary. ive unpacked the files and installed the program but cant set it up let alone reach some kind of tangable user interface. Help please, ahhh. :?
