Hi all.
Thanks for the comments and advice which you gave me when I constructed my previous site www.cherishedregistrations.net.
That is now well established and last month attracted over 600,000 hits.
I am now launching a new site aimed at Supercar fans.
Although, it has only been running for a few weeks, initial response is good.
It is not optimised yet, as I want to get it right before I do so.
I need to add a few more pages before doing that.

Keep in mind, hits aren't the same thing as visitors, or page views, and are basically a worthless statistic. "The only time to use hits is when you need a big number".

looking at there portfolio all there sites are like this :S cant say i would pay a penny for them

I think it's total crap. Most of your content revolves around the forum - which you didn't create, but simply customized some of the colors and header pictures. No special color scheme. The whole idea behind the site is rather unique, so if you put more effort into the colors and pictures I'm sure it'll look really nice!

Looking at their site, probably $200. It is hard to get anything good done for $200 - hell, I paid $200 for a 1 page png image for a site, just so I could get the colors and nav bar design - looked nice as hell though.
