Topic: Just wondering what you think about my site

I am new to phpfreaks i just seen this form and thought it would be cool to see what other thought about my site, feel free to sign up an post items to see how that all works or if you dont want to sing up you can just look at the non-member side of it. I might make a test id for it after i see what people say about it. Or i might post my qa url, I am new here and just want to see what type of feed back i get. Thanks for the help.

I think it's look okay. First, the main content is not align with the side bar, but if that was your intention, then I guess it's okay, but I haven't seen any website with that formatting before and it looks weird to me. Second, the puzzle pieces on each area doesn't make it too professional. Third, each webpage is not consistent with the others in term of themes.

That's just my 2 cents and I was giving my honest opinion.

• The the does not cross over to each page
• The google stuff looks out of place
• have to use the back button to nav from the un-themed pages
• about and contact are the same content

for better looking ads try looking at companies like http:// linkshare.com
while the back button should always work, navigation is the most important thing for any web site so you need to give an on page way to get from page to page.
also i love the back to top but it stops just shy of the nav bar, the point of a back to top button.
you may look at using a central box for content then use php to control the content with conditional include statements.

personally i love the puzzle pieces and the colors.

Hi, I have a questions that pertains to 2 of my websites, I've had these website for more than 5 years - atleast one of them. The one is www.rightmove.co.za - my question with this one is:
1. the domain is a south african domain name, the hosting server is in the US will this descriminate against the site?
2. There is a very poplur site with same name in the uk, how can I over come this because they spend millions a year on seo so if someone puts in rightmove, they get mostly the uk site.

Next domain is: www.buyorselldomainnames.net someone told me that if you have key words in your domain name it is good, is it? because this makes the domain really long..

The CSS was made by someone else, there is no reason to reinvent the wheel, and i leave there link on there because that is what was required to use it. That is what the rules of this forum says to do.
