Yet Another Release Candidate

Oh, well... I've already seen a post where a team member says they'll most certainly have to make an RC3.

Not sure what happened before the update, but the forum doesn't seem to like extremely long 'words'. As shown here....

Edit: It's only 'funky' on Firefox.

Black text is so typical though. What I like about the orange is it adds some colour / vibrancy.

What about a dark blue then?  Just seems like the orange is too light

I think CV is suffering from "orange-phobia"  ;)
Personally, I like it as is.

just don't see why people like orange so much. it's so 80's.  80's was a stupid decade.

Much like anything else, it's all subjective (what one colour works for one, will not for the other).
I happen to like the 80's (granted, I was a kid / teen in those years.. ah the 80's.. they certainly don't make movies or music like they did back then [I can see some people being thankful for that lol]. In the wise words from the movie 'Legend' [which hey, was an 80's flick]; "Maturity is the regret of youth."). I regret not being young anymore lmao.

Good times... good times.  ;)

I wouldn't mind the username colour being the same as other links/headings (#334466) perhaps with the guru/recommended/staff colours (or some variation thereof) used for usernames within those categories?

[ot]Not that what I wouldn't mind has any bearing on anything![/ot]

Yeah, in the older version, badged members usernames were the same colours as their badges. Even if we restored that effect, what colour would the none badged members use? (again, orange works for me.. but then again, as far as I'm concerned, the yellow colour of the gurus (not the badge itself, but the username text) seems harder on the eyes... I threw in the idea of making gurus orange instead, but if that were to happen, then keeping non-badged usernames orange wouldn't be fitting.

Yeah, in the older version, badged members usernames were the same colours as their badges.

Actually they were not. Not unless someone installed a theme that I didn't have access to. It is/was only in the users online/viewing list that usernames were colored.
