Hi guys, my name's Andy, I'm 21 and currently studying Computing at Uni. I didn't know much/anything about web development until I started my first year (second year now) where we had a HTML/CSS module, then this year we done the same but with PHP included. I absolutely loved it, so I've decided to learn it in my own time aswell as the other modules we have.
I'm fairly decent with HTML/CSS but I really want to step my knowledge up in PHP, I've brought a book on it; "PHP 6 and MySQL 5 for Dynamic Web Sites: Visual QuickPro Guide" and I'm currently through 3 chapters in that and still loving it. So I may be asking for a bit of advice around the forums (I'll try not to be too annoying
)
I've also seen it is best to have a project you want to create too while learning more about PHP, would people recommend that?
