« on: July 09, 2006, 03:41:11 AM »
I know there's a section where people get help about html, but if there a chance to have htmlfreaks.com where there's html tutorial like the one in phpfreaks ?

I just love your tutorial, it's great :D

Seems kinda redundant. HTML isn't a hideously complex topic, and I doubt that you could create an entire site around HTML tutorials that aren't elsewhere on the web.

HTML is pretty widely known. If your learning php it is assumed you know a bit about HTML.  That is why we provide a HTML board on this forum...in case you need a bit of HTML help here and there.  HTML is the easiest language to learn when it comes to web design.

Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for the link.
But I already know that tutorial but I think it doesn't help much, anyone has other idea where to learn them just like how phpfreak tutorial did ?

I do.  Make a web site. ;)  The best way to learn is to apply it to a project.  You can't just sit down and start remebering tags...you have to use them.

Um... PHP is easier then HTML? Since when? I've still not mastered PHP, but HTML? That's easy.

:o
Don't know why, but I think it's easier to understand php than html.
In php you just have to understand what you trying to do, as for html. Eeeek ! Alien, it seems that html doesn't want me. No matter how I trying to get close to it, it just run away from me. *sob*

HTML is the EASIER language to learn than PHP, but PHP is the EASIER langauge to work with.  HTML is all design. You have to know when, where, etc to put the tags to make the design pretty.  For PHP you just have to code it according to the guidelines and it either works or it dosn't.  PHP is not a designing code like html, so it makes it easier to work with PHP...but HTML is easier to learn.

you know what I think is funny is how a lot of people say they don't know html and yet most everybody on the planet who goes online knows bbcode.

=.=! html and bbcode is different, I have been surfing forums for years already, and bbcode is really basic to use. You just put the open tag and remember to close them, and it will convert to html.

Right.... that's how HTML works as well.  Open tag, attributes, close tag.  The syntax is slightly different, but it's the same principle.
PHP 5 - MySQL 5 - Win Vista 64 - Firefox 3, IE 7
