Sort by date/time

I'm trying to pull data from a mysql db. I've stored data on the mysql with the date/time property. So How can I pull the mysql data by date/time?

Just use ORDER BY function in your mysql query.

I'm not a php person. I'm trying to write this server side script. Could someone please show me how to do it.

$query = "SELECT * FROM  my_db1 WHERE codes = '".$spk."'";
$results = mysql_query($query);
while($line = mysql_fetch_array($results))

Actually, this is totally mysql thing, not php if you just want to sort your result by datetime column. Just change the query as follow. If you want to sort by descending order, replace ASC with DESC

 

$query = "SELECT * FROM  my_db1 WHERE codes = '".$spk."' ORDER BY `datetime_column_name` ASC";
