Upload videos to my website

          I read somewhere that it is possible for users to be able to upload videos to a website via youtube api intergration. I have no idea how this works, and have tryed the tutorial on the API site. Could anyone give me an example or an easier way that users can upload videos to my website, thanks.

Unfortunately, that isn't the way to ask for help. You might not get a response. we need to know what you tried and failed at, so we have a starting point to help you.

 

Edit: and I think what you mean is that the API allows you to upload to YOUTUBE from your website. not to your website from YouTube

well basically I want the option for users to be able to post videos to my website and that was the only way I came across of doing it.

Here is a real simple answer. I make no guarantees that this is the best way.

 

With the API, it allows you to upload directly to youtube from a form on your site. When they do that, you can capture the url (from the youtube API) and save it to a database. Then you can use that url from the database to play it on whatever page you want. You can gather whatever info you want and save it to YOUR database. Like a unique name/description/username (of up-loader) etc.
