Refresh PHP page on DB entry

I don't think its possible to get a browser to refresh precisely when a row is added/updated but the way you're going to have to do it (unless anyone knows of anything else?) is to have an AJAX page being called every so often to check if there are any updates and then do what you want when anything changes...

A good example is help.com - Get Firefox, Firebug and turn on the console... if you look at that you can see they do alot of AJAX calls all the time to check for updates :)
