Use PHP to obtain header 'location'

Hello everyone.

I want to use php to obtain the 'location' value from a header of a url.

However, when I use get_headers() it automatically follows the redirect and gives me the header information of the new page.

I don't want this, I need the headers of the original page. (I need the value of the 'location' variable in the header).

Hope you can help me out.
