rondog Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 I have a flash application that talks to upload.php Say I upload a 500mb file; it will obviously take a little while to upload. Will the max_execution_time settings cause this to fail? Its set at 60 right now and the upload is obviously taking longer than 1 minute. Any time spent on activity that happens outside the execution of the script such as system calls using system(), the sleep() function, database queries, time taken by the file upload process, etc. is not included when determining the maximum time that the script has been running. Warning max_input_time sets the maximum time, in seconds, the script is allowed to receive input; this includes file uploads.
