gh
Hello, I am writing this program that takes non-english (HTML non friendly) characters and converts them to english. ex. Æ becomes AE When I use charset=UTF-8 in the html page things go kinda haywire, and there appears to be special characters built in. (Not sure if thats the right wording or not) but charset=ISO-8859-1 works fine. Looking at this site, it uses ISO-8859 too, but is there any disadvantage? Could I run into problems down the road relying on it, seeing as UTF8 is more widely used? Thanks for any comments
