POST HELP

I have a php code file test.php with html form

<form method="post" id="something" action="upload.php">

inputs... and other stuff

</form>

So there i also have a upload.php file which includes a php code which does something with the information which is inputted by user.

Now i want to ask you, is there an option that browser does not redirect to upload.php when i press submit button.

You see, i would include the upload code in the test.php itself, but i cant, because the code executes every time i refresh, without even pressing the submit button (mysql INSERT).

So the only way is to use another file when button is pressed but then it redirects me, what i dont want.
