witney Posted March 23, 2011 Share Posted March 23, 2011 Hello, I am having an issue with an unwanted gap in IE8 when I include my header file in the page file. The header file contains the javascript, style and the beginning of a table and the page file contains the rest of the table. While it looks fine in Firefox, the IE8 includes a gap between the header and the page file. Some of the sites suggest it is due to the file format. I've tried them all - the PC and UNIX format, ANSI, Unicode, UTF-8 with BOM and without BOM the result is unfortunately the same. Does anyone have an idea how to resolve it? witney Posted March 24, 2011 Author Share Posted March 24, 2011 Thanks, I have recreated the files from scratch and somehow now it is working. So I guess it is about the file format. I just still haven't figured out what is it about the original file that caused the problem. Please let me know if you figure it out. Thanks.
