Hi! I'm a little bit new to php and i'm having a stupid issue here with mysql_real_escape_string.

I have a really simple text input field into an html form and I want to save the data into a SQL table.

Sometime I'm trying to insert a name with a quote like : steve's

..So I escape the text with mysql_real_escape_string but the problem is that there's a \ also inserted into the DB (steve\'s)...

Is there anyway to get rid of that?

Thanks in advance!
