how to show no match found

i have this small code but i will like to know add an echo that will say "No match found" if the search is not available in the database.

you could add this to you code

 

$num_rows = mysql_num_rows($sql);
if ($num_rows == 0)  {

   echo "No Match Found";
}
else  {

....
}

this will check to see if there are any rows grabbed....if there arent any rows...it will echo "no match found"
