Question drop menu

I have lots of tables for my products could i use the table name for a drop down menu? or is it not safe

I don't quite understand the question? Although I imagine you mean could you use the table names for items within a drop down menu? I personally wouldn't but you could by using something like...

 

<?php
$sql = "SHOW TABLES FROM $db";
$result = mysql_query($sql);
?>

 

Then just loop through them! But as I said, its not the best idea.  :-\
