Ryan Weaver, who was the long time Symfony framework Documentation lead and founder of Symfonycasts [https://symfonycasts.com] passed away on August 25, 2025 from glioblastoma, leaving behind his wife Leanna Pelham and young son Beckett.

Ryan was an incredible ambassador for the Symfony project and a tireless and enthusiastic supporter of PHP development who contributed to numerous open source projects.

"Ryan was an amazing father and Beckett's greatest supporter, always dreaming of the bright future ahead for his son. To honor his memory and help carry those dreams forward, we have created this GoFundMe to contribute to Beckett's 529 educational fund and custodial investment accounts."
