I read through your tutorial half-heartedly not expecting too much new (as I already know regex pretty well), but I did learn something new, didn't actually know that .*? removed greediness!

However, I think this is a very good beginners tutorial, and I will recommend it to anyone wanting to learn regex. I think it's well written and you take up all the important parts, without making it too complex.

Great tutorial! You break Regex down in bite sized, easy to understand examples.
